Lazuli is the epitome of a hopeless romantic. She spends most of her days on the surface hoping to see her best friend and love, the red-winged blackbird. Everything she sees, experiences, and feels is a metaphor or poetic musing. She "wears her heart on her sleeve" and believes that she will find love someday, no matter how long it takes.
